Augh, where to start. Jenny confused him at first, what with the random snoggage and all, and she still confuses him now, but that's okay. It's kind of like he's been swept up in Whirlwind Jenny, which is awesome for rather obvious Y HALLO THAR A SPEEDSTER reasons. She lives life fast and with enthusiasm, and it's contagious and he doesn't ever want her to lose that. Sometimes he's not really certain how it was they got together, or why she wants to be with him and not, y'know, someone better, but he'll enjoy it while it lasts.
The only thing that kind of bothers him is her being so protective; it's not so much her as 'people in general', but she's a part of it, so. And it's not like he won't be protective of her, too, though he has faith in her ability to kick people's asses (he'd just, you know, like to be there to help. And stuff.). He's just so not used to this stuff.
But, yeah. He <3s her. He's just not good at articulating such. >>
Jenny honestly can't think of anyone better than him right now. He doesn't question her - he just accepts her for everything that she is and that's a gift that she's never quite had before.
I need to go reply this for Bart now. For mutual <3age.
Mrs. K. is aaaaawesome, seriously. She's like the Best Mom Evar, and he kind of wishes he'd had her instead of his mom. Which has nothing to do whatsoever with how amazing her cooking is.
...He doesn't really know her well enough to have opinions beyond that, though. Yet.
Clark was Bart's first friend after a long void in that area, and he does really appreciate that. He also catalyzed some serious changes to Bart's lifestyle, so, yeah, he's made a huge impact on Bart already.
That said? Clark is sometimes better taken in small doses. He acts like the fate of the world's resting on his shoulders or something, and Bart thinks he needs a serious dose of 'Cheer up, Responsible Boy!!. And the lecturing and the worrying are kinda stifling after spending so long on his own. He's just not used to it, and sometimes- er, fine, a lot of the time- he feels like Clark's trying to turn him into something he's never gonna be. And to make things even better, he's spent his life on his farm with his parents and therefore doesn't even really get what he's asking. And that's frustrating.
Claire is fun! She's this little island of 'normal teenage girl with powers!', and he doesn't exactly know a lot of those, and would like to get to know her better.
