Bart's door opens onto the inside of a (FANCY-SCHMANCY) restaurant, the name of which the narration will not divulge at this time. Bart managed to set up a reservation, under a v. fake name, and use some of the money from Inari to pay for this, so... they're good.

And he holds the door open for Jenny. HE IS A GENTLEMAN, you see.

"Once it's finished."

And, unsurprisingly, she leans over to kiss him.

Right when the waiter brings the food.

Psh, the kissing is WAY more important than the food.

Waiter is amused. HE WILL WORK AROUND THEM.

It's when the waiter clears his throat that Jenny pulls back, smiling happily. She glances down at the appetizers that the man brought and then up at him.

"I think we're good for now."

Glance to Bart. That's what she's supposed to say, right?

Grin.

"Thanks."

The waiter leaves.

Kids.

And Jenny giggles some more.

"Is that a part of first dates, too?"

"Apparently it's a part of ours."

"I'm glad. I really do like kissing you!"

SO VERY SINCERE: "You have no idea how glad I am to hear it."

She laughs again, cheeks turning rosy as she plays with the food in front of her. "What about you? Do you like kissing me?"

"See, now you're just fishing for compliments."

More giggling. "So?"

Long-suffering sigh.

"Yes, Gorgeous. I practically live for your kisses, among" eyebrow-waggle "other things."

She knows she loves him for a reason. Beaming, Jenny reaches over to steal a piece of Bart's appetizer.

"Good. Because I think I'd be really upset if you didn't, Speedy."

Grin.

IT IS A TESTAMENT TO HIS LOVE FOR HER THAT HE LETS HER.

...He also steals a piece of her appetizer back. >>

BUT FAST.

SO YOU CAN'T PROVE IT.

Except if you're used to having a speedster boyfriend. Like Jenny is.

So she looks at him and smirks. "I saw that."

"Saw what?"

"Food thief."

Said entirely with love.

:O!!!!!, sez Bart.

"Hey, you started it!"

As she steals another piece with her fork, "I wouldn't!"

:O :O :O!!

"Liar!"

STEALING ANOTHER PIECE OF HERS.

She can probably keep this up all night.

Which is why, in between laughter and eating, she responds with a: "I love you, Speedy. This is the best date ever."
